This donation will help a lot to achieve our mission. Mental health care needs are skyrocketing. However, if people want access to timely care (ie not waiting months on wait lists) they usually have to pay hefty fees ($150-200 per session) in order to get connected to a counsellor now, when they are looking for help.&nbsp; If clients don&rsquo;t have private benefit coverage for counselling, they are usually paying this fee themselves. And if their benefits run out, they may choose to stop vital counselling services before they are ready, simply due to a lack of funds.&nbsp; That&rsquo;s where our Grow In Kindness Fund comes in.&nbsp; With your donation,&nbsp; We&#39;ll be able to : - Directly provide low-cost counselling sessions at a 85% discount to our clients.&nbsp; - The Grow in Kindness Fund provides a low cost alternative to private counselling care. - That means clients get 12 counselling sessions at a fee of $25 per session.&nbsp; - Funds are distributed on a first-come, first served basis. Clients are not required to demonstrate need or fill out endless paperwork. Simply request the fund and if it is available, we allocate to the client.&nbsp; Your donation helps us directly achieve this goal, faster. We also generate this fund by running events in our studio and by selling items in the shop. That is how we sustainably create a long term solution without reliance on external funding.&nbsp; However- every donation counts and provides mental health care quicker to our community.&nbsp;(Please note we are a grassroots non profit organization and therefore CANNOT issue tax receipts at this time).
