Giving Cancer a Scare is an annual fundraising campaign for the CHUM Radiation Oncology Department. It's the initiative of Dr. Guila Delouya and Dr. David Roberge, two CHUM radiation oncologists who want to give back to their patients. In the past, the campaign took the form of a sporting event. This year, in order to give as much as possible directly to research, and to keep our operating costs to a minimum, there will be no event associated with the initiative, maximizing every dollar received in investment in radiation oncology research. Donner la Frousse au Cancer est une campagne de financement annuelle pour amasser des fonds pour le département de la radio-oncologie du CHUM. Il s’agit d’une initiative de Dre Guila Delouya et du Dr David Roberge, deux radio-oncologues du CHUM qui désirent redonner à leurs patients. Dans le passé, la campagne se déployait sous la forme d'un événement sportif. Cette année, ayant pour but de redonner un maximum à la recherche directement et de limiter nos coûts d’opération au plus bas, il n’y aura pas d’événement rattaché à l’initiative, ce qui permettra de maximiser chaque dollar reçu en investissement dans la recherche en radio-oncologie.
