*******UPDATE:  I have now taken in the male cat, father of the kittens, as I found him with an injury.  Hoping to get him in to see my vet Monday July 15.  I will update after this.  SEVEN TO BE TOTALLY VETTED!!! That is a lot of $$$ believe me! ***** This summer we have rescued (so far) one adult female and her 4 kittens, 1 kitten from an unknown litter, one adult male (not inside yet) and we are certain there are more to come as far as kittens are concerned.  There are also "other" adults coming here and there, throughout the nights.  It is costing a small fortune to feed them all.  They also ALL have to be vetted.  All of this will cost more than $5 grand, but we know we will also be able to raise some of the money through fundraising (auctions etc).  Times are tough for many so even if you can share our plea for help we would be soooo grateful.  Anyone wanting to do cash donations or EMTs directly to us simply email us at <a href="mailto:valleyhart@hotmail.com" style="color:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit">valleyhart@hotmail.com</a> and we can figure out how you can help.  All of these felines will be vetted through Port Royal Animal Hospital in Annapolis Royal with Dr. Jody Cunningham.  I was hoping to be retired from rescuing by now, and only looking after the sanctuary side of H.A.R.T., but I guess that's not in the cards, so I will do what I can.  Thank you so much for your support.  Blessings, Laurie
