On 9th September 2023, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit Morocco killing over 2,012 people and leaving 2,059 injured.  As with every humanitarian crisis, the earthquake has affected  countless women and girls in rural and remote areas surrounding Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains. Many of them belong to the Amazigh indigenous community, facing a dire need for menstrual care and hygiene products (something that is often overlooked in crisis relief efforts).  For The Menstruator is partnering with Politics4Her to provide disposable menstrual products to those affected on ground. The products will be distributed by grassroots organizations in Morocco including : Project Soar, FLDF, and AMPF.  Each package will cost us $1 and 100% of the money will go towards purchasing these products.  We want to acknowledge that this is a short term solution for the earthquake survivors and products will only last for the next month so.
