This bursary provides financial support to independent artists interested in increasing their financial literacy through Generator’s programs. It was founded in 2020 to honour the life of Jordan Mechano, an independent artist and graduate of Generator's Financial Literacy Program. 
After participating in the program in 2018, Jordan said, "I finally have a foundation to operate from when I am producing my own work. [...] I not only gained important skills, but Generator remains a guiding source for support as I move forward with my independent practice."
