Isaac G. Lavallée est né le 8 janvier 1997, à Cornwall, en Ontario. Il était connu pour son remarquable leadership, son esprit chaleureux et sa nature solidaire. Isaac excellait à l’école et pratiquait plusieurs sports, mais depuis son plus jeune âge, il était vraiment dans son élément lorsqu’il jouait au hockey et à la crosse. Il a fait partie de l’équipe de crosse au champ des Gee-Gees durant cinq saisons, dont trois à titre de capitaine et une au poste d’entraîneur. Isaac était un meneur et un coéquipier hors pair. Il a conduit les Gee-Gees à leur première victoire en éliminatoires de la CUFLA et à une participation à la Coupe Baggatawa, en 2016. En novembre 2019, on lui a diagnostiqué un sarcome d’Ewing, une forme rare de cancer des os. Malgré cette nouvelle dévastatrice, Isaac est demeuré optimiste face au combat qu’il devait livrer, obtenant un diplôme en génie civil de l’Université un an plus tard. Malheureusement, il a été emporté par le cancer mars 2021.  Si Isaac nous a quittés, son esprit continue à vivre à travers son formidable héritage. Il a laissé une marque indélébile sur notre programme de crosse. Isaac excelled in school and participated in many sports but, from an early age, thrived playing hockey and lacrosse, especially. He was a member of the Gee-Gees men’s field lacrosse team for five seasons, was a captain for three and coached the team for a season. Isaac was an incredible leader and teammate. He led the Gee-Gees to their first CUFLA playoff victory and Baggataway Cup appearance in 2016. In November 2019, Isaac was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Despite this devastating news, he stayed optimistic through the battle that lay ahead. He graduated from the University a year later with a degree in civil engineering but, sadly, cancer took Isaac from us in March 2021.  Isaac has departed from this world, yet his spirit continues to live on through his remarkable legacy. His impact on the lacrosse program has changed it forever.
