When you donate to Koats for Kids, you will provide warmth and safety to 1,000 children and youth ages 0-18. For many families, purchasing winter coats and other winter outerwear is a significant challenge. Whether you donate $5 or $50, every dollar makes a difference. Every year, we help as many families as possible to receive winter coats for each child and youth free of charge. Not able to donate dollars? We understand! We are also collecting new and gently used:- winter coats - snow pants - snow boots - store-bought hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves (we have plenty of handmade accessories from previous years - thank you!)- vests  Our greatest need this year is for winter coats typically worn by boys in sizes 8-14. We also accept adult-sized winter coats for youth.  We are only able to accept winter coats and accessories in new or gently used condition, free of rips, holes, tears, stains, pet fur, or smells, do not have broken zippers and are not visibly dirty. Please wash your donated items before dropping them off. Due to capacity limits, we cannot accept pants, sweaters, fall jackets or coats, or shoes or boots unsuitable for snow.
