🐾 DAKOTA NEEDS US. Our goal: $5,000. 🐾 Dakota arrived at PAW in March with an injury near her neck and jaw that initially appeared to be a bite wound. She received veterinary care. She healed. She was spayed. She was getting ready for adoption. And then the wound opened again. What followed has been months of veterinary care, multiple rounds of antibiotics, an abscess that ruptured and two exploratory surgeries trying to find the cause. But Dakota’s wound keeps returning. Her case has now been referred to Dr. Dwan at Riverview Animal Healthcenter, who has reviewed her history and believes there is likely a foreign body lodged deeper, near critical structures that couldn’t safely be reached during her previous procedures. Dakota now needs specialist surgery. ❤️ This is her chance to finally heal. We are asking our community to help us raise $5,000 toward Dakota’s veterinary care (including the treatment and surgeries already provided and the specialist care still ahead). Every $10. Every $25. Every share. It all matters. 🐾 Help us give Dakota her chance.
