Dear Forest City String School Families & friends, We want to thank you for your ongoing support of the FCSS program.  We appreciate your time and commitment to investing in your child’s high quality music education. Today we are reaching out to ask for your help. Recent changes to the facility rental fees charged by the Thames Valley District School Board have created challenges for many non-profit organizations who utilize TVDSB spaces across the city. We at FCSS have seen our rental fees to use the school space suddenly increased by over 300%!  We are actively exploring alternatives but in the meantime, FCSS must absorb this large fee increase, which far exceeds the operating budget of our small, non-profit organization.  We know you value the unique opportunity that FCSS provides to your children - to participate in one of the best school-age orchestra programs in the country, private music school, with all-star teaching staff, right here in London, Ontario.   We ask that, if your family is in a position to do so, you consider making a financial donation to FCSS at this time.  Any amount would be greatly appreciated and tax receipts will be provided.  Thank you again for the privilege of spending Saturday mornings with your young, aspiring musicians! We believe if we all invest together we can continue providing this outstanding programming. ** here we want to include a link (ideally set up so they can just click it and it collects all the info for tax receipts etc ).  It needs to be really easy!  No eTransfer or emailing required.    It sounded like Craig may have a lead on that for us.
