On Friday, our children will have the privilege of learning from a mother&ndash;daughter team from the Sḵwx̱w&uacute;7mesh (Squamish) Nation through storytelling, cedar weaving, and traditional offerings. These teachings are a gift, and part of reconciliation is ensuring they are received with respect and reciprocity. We&#39;ve created in the PAC fund a Truth &amp; Reconciliation Fund to honour this work. A suggested contribution of $15 per family goes 100% directly to the Indigenous presenters. Participation is never dependent on donations &mdash; every child will take part &mdash; but this is an invitation: to show gratitude, to acknowledge the privilege of learning on these lands, and to affirm that Indigenous voices belong in our children&rsquo;s education.
