Twenty years of AMY is a huge milestone, but our future is not guaranteed. Since 2006, The AMY Project has been a vital home for community and artistic excellence. However, as we look toward the next twenty years, we face a stark reality: without immediate and significant financial support, AMY cannot continue. The AMY Project has been in a time of transition and re-blooming over the past several years. During the pandemic, we moved through challenging times as our board and staff turned over, and we faced difficulties continuing our programming. Through this transition, we lost our charity status in 2023. Since then, we have been working tirelessly to clean up our books and reapply. However, the backlog of accounting and tax filings has cost us more than anticipated, and we have had to engage a lawyer to pursue our status once again.We are asking for the community&#39;s help to raise $10,000. These funds will allow us to recoup these costs and, ultimately, keep AMY&rsquo;s doors open. Since we are not currently a registered charity, we cannot issue tax receipts.&nbsp;
