As a volunteer run festival, Digi60 Filmmakers' Festival celebrates independent filmmakers in Ottawa by providing a screening venue and professional development program with industry professionals in film and television. Throughout our 20th Anniversary Festival season, Digi60's programming included: <ul><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">Screening 48 short films by Ottawa filmmakers;</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">3 mentorship programs, including a Microgrant;</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">Conference for media, art and film focusing on building an inclusive ecosystem for storytellers in Ottawa;</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">6 sold out workshops; </li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">3 panels with industry pros;</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">3 networking events including a networking lunch with a dozen decision makers.</li></ul>The arts sector is facing a challenging time and funding is becoming more precarious every year. Every donation goes toward Digi60's programming, allowing us to pay artist and screening fees, provide subsidized access to participants no matter their financial background, cover venue fees and host industry programming that makes a difference for Ottawa filmmakers. This is a festival for filmmakers, by filmmakers, and we can't do it without YOU!
