🌟 Help power up the next level of our emergency solar array!🌟 The Emergency Lifeline Power Hub Initiative (ELPHI) is an exciting project of the Sunshine Coast Community Solar Association. The goal is to deploy a mobile solar-based emergency power supply to run communications, lighting, or other vital emergency services support equipment in times of critical need on the Sunshine Coast.&nbsp; The SCCSA portable solar array is now at Grounded Acres Farm for further testing. &nbsp;Our next goal is to make it more robust, versatile and truly mobile, ready to serve emergency services here on the Sunshine Coast. It will have the ability to store energy from an external generator if required at night or on low-light days without having to constantly run an internal combustion generator. We need your support for the following upgrades:&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">an enclosed, secure utility trailer (about 5x8 feet) -- &nbsp;$6,500</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">upgrading the storage batteries to a stackable system to provide more &nbsp;power available for nighttime operations -- $6,000</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">doubling the system to 20 panels from the current 10 -- $4,000</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">all essential mounting hardware, miscellaneous electrical components, etc. -- $3,500</li></ul>At Sunshine Coast Community Solar Association, we know that change starts with people like you.
