Hi Everyone,My name is El, I am 23 years old from Vancouver Canada. I would like to share a bit about myself and my cancer journey. I have recently been diagnosed with a rare form of adenocarcinoma (stomach cancer) and although I am in the early stages of the cancer  diffuse adenocarcinoma is known to be agressive. As I am only 23 years old, I am actively trying to recover. I have been hopeful that through chemotherapy and oral medication I will be able to beat it. I have been going through chemotherapy alone as my family is not able to help me through this experience do to logistics. Since my family is far away, I am so grateful for the doctors and nurses that have taken care of me during my treatment. I want to help give back to the BC Cancer Foundation as they have helped me cover the cost of my medication and provided support through this difficult disease.  Everyone’s experiences with cancer is different and I am reaching out to all possible donors in hopes that they can relate to my story.  ALL donations will go towards the BC Cancer foundation in the hopes to help families struggling and effected by cancer. My mission is to able to be able to raise enough money to: - Power medical research into stomach cancer - Help families pay for medication and medical devices.  Thank you all for taking the time to read my story and consider donation.
