Nos coffres sont presque vides et nous comptons sur cet événement pour nous mener jusqu'en 2026. Puis-je compter sur vous pour contribuer à la réussite de cet événement?  Chaque don nous rapprochera de l'accomplissement de notre mission. Ensemble, nous pouvons créer un monde plus compatissant pour tous. Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Centre Espoir De Gatineau's (CEG) fundraising event. The bi-yearly "Feed the Hungry Road Block" is on this September 13th, from 08:30 to 15:30.   A staple of the CEG fundraising events, the Feed the Hungry Road Block is by far our best and most profitable fundraising event.  Last April's event was cut short due to rain, and unfortunately, our objectives were not met. This is why the September event is our most important one in years. To get things started, I'm posting the relevant information here and hoping that the early results on Zeffy will encourage our teams of volunteers on September 13.   For the first time, an appeal is being sent through the Zeffy app to help raise the funds we need to survive. We simply cannot take a chance this time around for the rain to dampen our success.  For over 40 years, CEG's mission has been to feed the hungry in Gatineau's Notre-Dame community and surrounding areas.  As many of you are aware and have most likely observed in the news, it's a difficult time for foodbanks in Quebec and Canada, and CEG foodbank is not immune to this unfortunate tendency. Our coffers are seriously affected by the increased demand for basic needs and ever increasing cost of living, which is why we are counting on this event to allow us to carry our mission into 2026 and beyond. We are counting on your generosity to help make this event a success.  Every donation will bring us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations through this app.  While there, please consider becoming a monthly partner.  There is power when many of us band together for a noble cause, no matter of the size of your gift.  If you come across our volunteers at one of these 5 intersections in the Gatineau area, please give generously and give them a word of encouragement.:  1.  Chemin de la Savane et rue des Anciens2.
