This week, our sweet Buddy started limping quite badly. Born with severely deformed legs, Buddy has always faced challenges with his mobility, and we worry about the pain and arthritis that may develop in his crooked joints. We've been exploring red-light therapy as another way to help keep him comfortable. Having a veterinary rehabilitation practitioner visit the sanctuary would cost $300 for the initial session and nearly $200 for each follow-up. Instead, we're hoping to raise $700 to purchase a Photizo Vetcare handheld red-light therapy device that we could use with veterinary guidance. This equipment could potentially benefit many of our other rescued animals living with arthritis, disabilities and chronic pain. If we're fortunate enough to exceed our goal, we'd love to add leg wraps or a blanket to provide more consistent treatment coverage. While red-light therapy isn't a cure and results aren't guaranteed, we're hopeful it may offer another little bit of comfort to the animals who call our sanctuary home. Thank you for helping us give Buddy and his friends the best quality of life possible. 🐏 ❤️
