Keeping the Campfire Burning: A Season of Gratitude & Giving at Kuriakos "So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all." — Galatians 6:10 (NRSV) At Kuriakos, we believe camp is more than just a place to visit. It's a place where faith grows, friendships are formed, connections are strengthened, and memories are made that last a lifetime.Rooted in our Lutheran Christian faith, Kuriakos is a year-round retreat centre and summer camp where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to experience community, belonging, and the beauty of God's creation. Throughout the year, we welcome children, youth, families, schools, congregations, and community groups. From the energy and excitement of summer camp to peaceful retreats, school experiences, and gatherings throughout the seasons, Kuriakos offers a place to connect, reflect, learn, and grow.As 2026 draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting with gratitude on the many ways Kuriakos has brought people together. From laughter around the campfire to quiet moments by the lake, every gathering reminds us of the importance of having a place where people feel welcomed, valued, and connected. As we look ahead to another year of summer camps, retreats, and meaningful gatherings, we invite you to help Kuriakos continue being a place where people connect, grow, and create lasting memories. Your generosity helps care for our facilities and beautiful grounds, support meaningful programs, and sustain the day-to-day operations that make these experiences possible throughout the year.Every gift, regardless of size, helps ensure Kuriakos remains a welcoming place for future generations. As Galatians reminds us, we are called to work for the good of all. Through kindness, service, encouragement, and generosity, we can continue living out that calling together. Together, we can keep the campfire burning for generations to come. We are deeply grateful for the families, congregations, schools, volunteers, donors, and friends who make Kuriakos such a special place. Thank you for being part of our community and for helping us create a place where faith, friendship, and connection flourish. With grateful hearts, we look forward to all that 2027 will bring!
