This September, in recognition of Big Brothers Big Sisters Month, we&#39;re asking our local community to help us close a significant funding gap. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williams Lake has lost an annual grant, leaving a $40,000 gap in our budget. While the funding has disappeared, the need in our community hasn&#39;t. In fact, this year we served more than THREE TIMES the number of children and youth than we had in the previous year. Local kids still need mentors, connection, consistency and someone in their corner. We are committed to continuing to be there for them and we&rsquo;re asking our community to stand with us.
