We have what the rest of the world needs. Artists with disabilities are grossly underrepresented in the creation and presentation of theatre in Canada. Yet all performance is rooted in the body and much exploration of the human condition is rooted in the recognition of the fragility of this flesh. Artists with disabilities are perforce engaged in anexploration of the body which is both specific and universal. We have an understanding of the truths of the human condition that can only be arrived at by confronting the challenges presented to us by our exceptional bodies. But these truths are universal. We have what the rest of the world needs.
