What better way to kick off 2027 than by jumping into the chilly waters of Okanagan Lake for a great cause? Every day, our local volunteer firefighters show up for our community. When we need them, they're there. No questions asked. This past year hasn't been an easy one for the Naramata Fire Fighters Society. But through it all, these incredible volunteers have continued to do what they do best: show up for our community. On January 1st, it's our turn to show up for them! ❤️ Your donation to the Naramata Polar Bear Fire Plunge will support the Naramata Fire Fighters Society and help fund community initiatives such as scholarships, bursaries, and other important local projects. Whether you're brave enough to take the plunge or would rather cheer everyone on from the shore, every bit of support makes a difference. Let's start 2027 with a little courage, a lot of community spirit, and a reminder of what makes Naramata such a special place. 🔥 Taking the plunge? Please make sure you also register on the Fire Plunge website (bottom of the Home page). A note about donating through Zeffy: We use Zeffy so that 100% of your donation goes directly to the Naramata Fire Fighters Society. During checkout, Zeffy will ask if you'd like to make an optional contribution to help keep its platform free. The amount is entirely up to you, including $0. New year. Cold water. Warm hearts. Let's show up for our firefighters! ❤️
