Elle était très maigre, à peine 2 kg, gravement déshydratée et dans un état de santé préoccupant. Non stérilisée, non micropucée et pas recherchée nulle part! Comme elle semble être une chatte de race, nous pensons qu’elle a peut-être été utilisée comme reproductrice dans un élevage illégal et mise à la rue…. Depuis son arrivée en mai, Odile a été stérilisée, a dû subir une grosse dentisterie avec plusieurs extractions dentaires, et lors des examens, il a été découvert qu’elle souffrait d’un souffle au cœur important qui pourrait indiquer des problèmes cardiaques graves. La prochaine étape sera une échographie cardiaque avec un spécialiste afin de comprendre l’origine de ce problème et de lui offrir les meilleurs soins possibles. À elle seule, Odile a déjà nécessité près de 3000 $ en soins vétérinaires, et les examens à venir feront malheureusement augmenter cette facture. Meet Odile. ❤️ This beautiful girl, about 2 to 3 years old, was found alone in the parking lot of a shopping center in Lasalle. She was trying to find food in the garbage dumpsters. She was very thin&mdash;barely 2 kg&mdash;severely dehydrated, and in a concerning state of health. She was not spayed, not microchipped, and no one was looking for her! Since she appears to be a purebred cat, we think she may have been used as a breeding cat in an illegal breeding business and then dumped on the street&hellip;. Since arriving with us in May, Odile has been spayed, underwent extensive dental work involving several tooth extractions, and during her exams, it was discovered that she has a significant heart murmur that could indicate serious heart problems. The next step will be a cardiac ultrasound with a specialist to determine the cause of this issue and provide her with the best possible care. Odile alone has already required nearly $3,000 in veterinary care, and the upcoming tests will unfortunately increase that bill.
