At Love Worx Canadian Relief Inc., we are purely volunteer led and every dollar goes to support our mission - to support people in crisis. This summer we are focusing on two main projects that need your help - 1. "Barb" is in a wheelchair and is housebound - the steps to her porch prevent her being able to come and go. She needs to call the fire dept to lift her down when she has medical appointments etc, and can't go to the grocery store just down the street. Different groups have offered to build a ramp but have always backed out for various reasons. We have the permit and the volunteers, we just need the funding for materials!2. "Jack" is a twenty year old from Syria and came with his family to Canada in 2025 for a better life. He was shot in the back when he was five years old and paralyzed. His family carries him from the car to inside the house where he moves around on the floor. We want to give Jack back his independence and ability to come and go by building him a wheelchair ramp for his home. We have the permit, we just need the funding for materials! Each ramp costs approximately $4000 in building materials, and we have already received donations to cover some of the costs! We organize volunteers free of charge to make these projects happen. Any funds raised beyond our target will contribute to our next projects.
