It is with great sadness, that we bid a fond farewell to Wayne Perkins, a great community leader and changemaker.  Wayne had a long standing love for the YMCA (especially in Calgary), but his passion also shone bright for the camp experience at <a href="https://www.ymcahbb.ca/camps/ymca-wanakita" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">YMCA Wanakita</a>. It is with this in mind, that Wayne's family and friends have asked, that in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the YMCA Wayne Perkins Leadership Centre at Camp Wanakita - a project that Wayne was inspired by and followed closely.  The YMCA of Hamilton | Burlington | Brantford is grateful to Wayne for his incredible impact on his fellow Canadians via his work with the YMCA.
