🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 Your support of Uya'am Gaak Cultural Society's V6A Garden will help residents of the Downtown Eastside access an abundance of healthy foods and sustaining medicines. At the V6A Garden we employ Indigenous Downtown Eastside residents to support healing, self-determination, and collective empowerment. We engage residents to grow, harvest, process and distribute over 10,000 pounds of produce each year. Along with vegetables, we grow traditional medicines like sweetgrass, sage, tobacco, cedar, oregon grape, salal, stinging nettles, mallow, calendula and borage, which are used for cultural work like salves and smudge blends. Our garden’s fruits and vegetables create free meals through our partners at Kílala Lelum Health Centre, the DTES Hub and DTES Neighbourhood House. How you can help power our mission:

Donate: Every dollar counts. Contribute now to help us reach our goal.

Share: Share our campaign with your friends, family, and on social media.
