After the devastating fire in 2000, our Church of Panagia was given the opportunity to rebuild our Cathedral according to the more traditional Byzantine style architecture that is traditional for all Orthodox churches. A key feature of this architectural plan is the Grand Dome that represents Heaven. The Icon of Christ AlMighty - The Pantocrator - is traditionally placed in the Dome to represent Christ overseeing and protecting his people. This will be the crowning jewel of our Cathedral and it is for this reason that all proceeds from the 65th Gala are earmarked for this purpose. We invite you to participate by donating towards this purpose.
