In the beautiful mountains of Ghana, where access to healthcare is scarce and treatable illnesses claim lives far too soon, a mother&rsquo;s vision gave birth to Yireh International Development Agency (YIDA) &mdash; a nonprofit rooted in compassion, healing, and long-term impact. Moved by the high rates of diabetes, HIV, hypertension, and other preventable conditions in her hometown of Larteh, she knew she could no longer look away. Together with her daughter and other compassionate individuals, she launched YIDA&nbsp;to bring healthcare to those who need it most &mdash; not just for a moment, but into the future. This September&nbsp;2025, YIDA will return to Ghana a second time&nbsp;to lead another medical mission to care for over 2,000 people across three townships.&nbsp; Our team of trained volunteers and health professionals will provide essential screenings, assessments, and basic treatments for blood-borne infections, chronic illnesses, and more. But our work doesn&rsquo;t stop there &mdash; patients will be connected with ongoing care and access to vital medications, helping to ensure that the support they receive isn&rsquo;t just temporary, but transformative. Volunteers will also receive training to support long-term health efforts, building local capacity for sustainable care. Beyond the clinic, YIDA is planting deeper roots through social enterprises. By establishing sustainable cash crop farms, we aim to fund future missions and create self-sustaining solutions for the community&rsquo;s health needs. To make this vision a reality, we urgently need to raise $50,000 &mdash; funding that will go directly toward medications, medical equipment, clinic setup, meals for patients and volunteers, and critical support for our team on the ground.&nbsp; Your donation is more than a gift &mdash; it is a lifeline, a seed of change, and a promise of dignity and care.
