La Maison S&eacute;jour is a support and shelter home for women experiencing violence. For more than 35 years, the shelter&rsquo;s counselors and staff have welcomed women and their children, providing guidance and support as they rebuild their lives and recover from difficult experiences. During their three-month stay, residents participate in workshops, meet with compassionate counselors, and receive assistance with their personal goals and processes. Counselors are available 24/7, both for residents and for any woman seeking support and a listening ear. La Maison S&eacute;jour embraces an intersectional feminist approach in all of its services. In other words, every person who benefits from the shelter&rsquo;s programs receives support tailored to their individual needs and circumstances. Rather than doing things &ldquo;for&rdquo; women, the counselors work &ldquo;with&rdquo; them. Their role is to provide women with the tools, resources, and guidance they need so they can face new challenges with greater confidence and independence.

Depuis plus de 35 ans, les intervenantes et le personnel de la maison accueillent des femmes et leurs enfants afin de les accompagner dans leur cheminement et leur reconstruction &agrave; la suite d&rsquo;&eacute;v&eacute;nements difficiles. Durant 3 mois, les personnes h&eacute;berg&eacute;es participent &agrave; des ateliers, rencontrent des intervenantes &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;coute et sont accompagn&eacute;es dans leurs d&eacute;marches personnelles. Les intervenantes assurent une pr&eacute;sence 24/7 pour les r&eacute;sidentes et ainsi que pour toutes femmes souhaitant de l&rsquo;&eacute;coute.&nbsp; La Maison S&eacute;jour adopte l&rsquo;approche f&eacute;ministe intersectionnelle avec toutes les personnes qui b&eacute;n&eacute;ficient de nos services. En d&rsquo;autres mots, chaque personne qui b&eacute;n&eacute;ficie des services de la maison re&ccedil;oit une aide adapt&eacute;e &agrave; ses besoins et &agrave; sa r&eacute;alit&eacute;. La Maison Séjour est une maison d’aide et d’hébergement pour les femmes victimes de violence. Depuis plus de 35 ans, les intervenantes et le personnel de la maison accueillent des femmes et leurs enfants afin de les accompagner dans leur cheminement et leur reconstruction à la suite d’événements difficiles. Durant 3 mois, les personnes hébergées participent à des ateliers, rencontrent des intervenantes à l’écoute et sont accompagnées dans leurs démarches personnelles. Les intervenantes assurent une présence 24/7 pour les résidentes et ainsi que pour toutes femmes souhaitant de l’écoute.  La Maison Séjour adopte l’approche féministe intersectionnelle avec toutes les personnes qui bénéficient de nos services. En d’autres mots, chaque personne qui bénéficie des services de la maison reçoit une aide adaptée à ses besoins et à sa réalité. Les intervenantes de la maison ne font pas « à la place de » mais plutôt « avec ». Leur travail est, entre autres, d’offrir tous les outils pertinents à la femme pour qu’elle puisse ensuite faire face aux nouveaux défis avec plus de facilité.
