The Challenge In Nairobi, ice time costs nearly $160 CAD per hour. For the Kenya Ice Lionesses — the country’s only women’s hockey team — that price tag makes the game almost impossible to access. Without support, they risk losing not just the game they love, but also school fees, transportation, and basic supplies. The risk isn’t just losing ice time — it’s losing opportunity. What We’ve Done Since 2022 Sticks Together has brought hockey to children in Argentina, South Africa, the Philippines, and Kenya.
