Help Keep Stitch Together Free & Fully Stocked! Every week, neighbors drop into the Guelph Tool Library for the Stitch Together Community Mending Project. Together, we fix favorite clothes, share sewing skills, and keep textile waste out of our local landfills. We provide the sewing machines, space, and volunteer guidance—completely free of charge. While our wonderful volunteers donate their time, keeping our mending stations stocked with basic supplies requires ongoing community support. Where Your Money GoesBecause Zeffy charges 0% in platform fees, 100% of your donation goes directly toward mending supplies:

Essential Notions: Heavy-duty threads, replacement zippers, buttons, snaps, elastic, tailor’s chalk, pins, and needles.

Fabrics & Interfacing: Mending patches, scrap fabrics for creative visible mending, interfacing, and darning yarn.

Tool Maintenance: Sewing machine servicing, scissor sharpening, and iron station safety upkeep.

What Your Impact Looks Like

$1 — Buys basic replacement notions like buttons, snaps, or safety pins to fix a gap or secure a loose item.

$5 — Covers a spool of heavy-duty all-purpose thread or a pack of specialized sewing machine needles for a workshop.

$10 — Provides a full mending bundle, including a replacement zipper, elastic, tailor’s chalk, and interfacing patches.

$20 — Fully stocks an entire drop-in session with high-quality notions, specialty darning yarns, and scrap fabrics for visible mending.

How Zeffy WorksZeffy is 100% free for non-profits like the Guelph Tool Library. Thank you for helping us empower our community, share valuable skills, and keep loved garments out of the landfill.Remember: Mending is the new spending!
