Help Us Protect Vancouver’s Most At-Risk 💙 The Vanished Project Society supports people who are missing, disconnected, or at serious risk in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and beyond. Our work focuses on finding people, keeping them safe, and reconnecting them to support, family, and stability. We do this through three core service streams: Outreach & Crisis Response:• locating people who are missing or unaccounted for• frontline wellness and safety checks• urgent response when someone is in danger, exploited, or medically at risk• coordination with hospitals, police, shelters, and community partners. Communication & Stability Support:• helping people stay reachable through phones and consistent contact.• appointment reminders and system navigation.• harm-reduction and safety supports.• practical assistance to keep people connected to care and services. Reconnection & Relocation Support:•supporting reconnection with family or trusted loved ones•coordinating safe travel when someone chooses to return home.•trauma-informed planning and follow-up during major transitions. Your donation directly supports this work on the ground. Every contribution helps someone stay connected, safer, and less likely to disappear unnoticed in a system where too many people fall through the cracks. Thank you for standing with people who deserve to be seen, supported, and protected.
