Enter into the mind and space of Dreamer, a young woman suffering from insomnia. Over the course of several sleepless nights, her waking state becomes a surreal landscape, ebbing and flowing with the pull of the Moon. Directed by Kaiya Saravanja-Thomson, the show features Victoria Matchett, Gaia Micciancio, and Nora Jane Montana. Each of these wonderful performers is also a co-creator of the show, contributing their talents in acting, singing, dance, and more. The set will be enhanced by the surreal landscape of Estelle Handy&#39;s projections, dazzling lighting by Jake Jenkins, and a dreamy soundscape created by Olivia Korosak.&nbsp; Behind the scenes bringing it all to life, we have the team of Lara Sampaio (Production Manager), Stefanie Proulx (Stage Manager) and Finn Browne (Technical Director) creating the physical pieces of the set, coordinating all of the logistics over the course of 4 months, and absorbing and translating everyone&#39;s ideas into a coherent show. Throughout the process we also regularly consulted with Dramaturg, Julia Usher on the story and dialogue, and with Kevin Zhang around more sensitive topics concerning mental health. To round out our illustrious team, our Designer, Mae Lai, created all of the show imagery and graphics seen on the web listing, website, and social media - expertly managed by our Marketing Director, Dillon Maillet. With a total cast and crew of 14 members all contributing their talents, the revenue solely from ticket sales will not nearly be enough to compensate everyone as much as they deserve. That&#39;s where you come in!&nbsp; If you love indie theatre and want to support working artists in Toronto, every dollar you donate will go directly towards each member of our cast and crew. The countless hours of work put into this by the whole team, while artistically fulfilling, are so far largely uncompensated. Together with your help, that is something we can change! And of course, if you help us out financially we will not let you walk away empty handed! Every donation of $5 or more can be redeemed for a special keepsake at the first show you attend.
