Meet Jelly &ndash; a tiny bear cub who was orphaned on March 23rd&hellip;World Bear Day. Estimated at 6 to 7 weeks old at that time, Jelly was found alone near Heffley Lake &ndash; too young to survive alone. Thanks to the quick action of local community members, Jelly was rescued and taken into the care of Northern Lights Wildlife Society (NLWS), located in Smithers, B.C.&nbsp; Jelly is now receiving around-the-clock care. He arrived at NLWS weighing 1.2kg and now weighs 2.76kg, which is approximately a 111g gain per day. The current cost of Jelly&#39;s feeding is&nbsp;$43 weekly (milk @ $27, fruit pouches @ $16), however, this cost will increase as he grows. In addition to feeding, Jelly is learning all the skills at NLWS that he will need to survive in the wild.
