Colorful Christmas greetings and traditional lanterns float above a tropical beach scene featuring a nativity scene and a bahay kubo at sunset.

Support FILAN’s first-ever appearance at the St. John’s Downtown Christmas Parade on November 29, 2026! This year marks a special milestone for the Filipino Association of Newfoundland & Labrador (FILAN) as we bring our Filipino Christmas traditions, colorful parol-inspired props, music, and community spirit to the streets of downtown St. John’s! Behind this exciting event are our dedicated volunteers working hard through workshops, dance practices, and preparations to make our first parade appearance memorable. You can be part of this journey! Your contribution, in any amount, will help us cover the costs of: 1. Props and Decorations – Materials for our parol-inspired creations and other parade decorations. 2. Post-Parade Refreshments – Helping us celebrate and thank our volunteers after the big day. 3. Other Parade Preparation Expenses – Supporting the materials and essentials needed to bring our vision to life. Whether it’s $5, $20, $50, or any amount you’re comfortable giving, every contribution makes a difference. You don’t have to be a business or a major sponsor to help. Every little bit brings us one step closer to making this event a success! This is more than just a parade. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our Filipino heritage, share the warmth of our Christmas traditions, and show the spirit of bayanihan—our community coming together to help one another. Thank you for being part of FILAN’s journey and helping us make our first Christmas Parade appearance one to remember! ------- Important Donation Information Please note that FILAN is not a registered charity authorized to issue official charitable donation receipts.
