Those who&rsquo;ve helped shape our world for the better, big or small.&nbsp;The stories of 5, 25, or 50 years ago we hear from our elders?&nbsp;And of course, those moments in modern history where an event so absolutely iconic making you wish you were there in that moment. As time passes, history grows and culture evolves; this includes the way we define words.&nbsp;We see legends as not only tales from the distant past they&#39;re also stories, people and moments from our recent past and present as well. &ldquo;the/LEGENDS&rdquo; is a vibrant movement that schools both the queer community and its allies on the trailblazers of yesteryear and today who are forging a brighter future for all 2SLGBTQIA+ folks. We&#39;re all about spotlighting the unsung heroes and epic events that shaped queer history. How, you ask? With a euphony of dance, dazzling performances, music, shindigs, parties, and a kaleidoscope of artistic expressions!&nbsp; Our mission?&nbsp;To weave tales that uplift, unite, and shine a beacon of hope for what&#39;s to come! &lowast;&lowast;&lowast;&lowast;&middot; the/LEGENDS, powered by the/[slash] &middot;&lowast;&lowast;&lowast;&lowast; the/[slash] is a new non-profit organization focused on innovative social impact work. Often, marginalized individuals face heavy workloads and burnout within advocacy movements, leading to reduced sustainability and the loss of momentum for many causes. At the/, we aim to create an environment where impactful work can be done effectively, without compromising on personal well-being and enjoyment.
