A woman with red hair receives an item from a smiling staff member in a blue shirt inside a tool library filled with shelves of equipment.

At Ottawa Tool Library, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. This Giving Tuesday, your gift helps us build safer opportunities for everyone who comes through our doors or attends our events. Whether you're picking up your first power tool or your hundredth, together, we can make sure everyone has the training, equipment, and support they need to build with confidence. This year, the Ottawa Tool Library hopes to raise $8,000 to fund essential safety upgrades across our activities. Some of these include:

Safety training, first aid, CPR, and WHMIS certification for our volunteers

Bleed & burn kits

Battery fire suppression equipment for our Repair Cafés

Storage containers for flammable materials, and solvents

WorkSpace improvements and additions to our inventory

This Giving Tuesday, give a gift that gives back and powers a safer, stronger community.
