Hello, we are SHINE! We are a group of young singers who have come together through a shared love of music and performing. For us, SHINE is more than just a choir, it&rsquo;s a place where we feel seen, supported, and inspired. Every rehearsal and performance is shaped by the unique voices, personalities, and stories that each member brings into the room. We have been offered an incredible opportunity to take our music beyond Calgary and go on a performance tour to Newfoundland to participate in the HarbourVOICES! International Festival of Collective Singing Traditions in St. John&#39;s. For many of us, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience to share our voices with a new audience, learn from new places, and create lasting memories. We are fundraising to help make this incredible opportunity a reality for all of our performers. Contributions will go directly toward travel costs, accommodations, and ensuring that every performer has the chance to take part, regardless of financial barriers. All donations support the tour, not individual performers. As we grow into young adulthood, we are all figuring out how to balance our passion for music and dance with the realities of becoming more independent. It isn&rsquo;t always easy, but SHINE gives us a space to keep doing what we love while supporting each other through that transition. Each of us comes from different backgrounds and has our own dreams, challenges, and reasons for singing. What brings us together is the way music connects us and the Youth Singers community. In SHINE, we push each other to grow not just as performers, but as people and we celebrate every step forward together. We would love your help to make this next step possible.
