While we had originally planned to replace these systems at the end of the coming year through grant applications and the careful release of some investments, this sudden urgency has caught us completely off guard. The cost of repairs, including parts and labor, is nearly half the expense of purchasing and installing a new system. Given the circumstances, replacement is the most reliable and long-term solution. As you know, our Society proudly houses over 150 seniors, ensuring they have a warm, safe place to call home. Despite the increasing costs of utilities, maintenance, and food, we remain committed to shielding our residents from these financial burdens. However, this unexpected crisis has placed an immense strain on our immediate resources. We urgently seek your support to raise $60,000 from our community to replace these vital systems.
