Forest City Nature Experience & Centre of Movement Arts present Weekend Adventurers provides children with the opportunity to explore the wild spaces of Gibbons Park to build their confidence, comfort, and connection in the outdoors.  Instructors will provide open-ended play-based opportunities along with structured activities, as well as wilderness skills and crafts.  This form is for PAYMENT ONLY. Ages 7-11 Gibbons Park, London, ON Saturdays 10AM - 1PM October 21 & 28, November 4, 11 Cost: $160 Staff: Nina Sampson & Bizz Varty Participants will: <ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Increase their skills around decision making, including increased risk-assessment and risk-taking skills, which leads to better self-regulation and improved mental health. </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Increase their confidence </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Improve their advanced gross motor skills through activities such as walking and climbing</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Increase their time and opportunities to engage in imaginative play; and</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Engage their curiosity and wonder</li></ul>Maximum enrolment: 12 students Pre-registration is required. Payments can be made through this form or by etransfer to <a href="mailto:centreofmovementarts@gmail.com">centreofmovementarts@gmail.com</a>. TipsMeet at the Gibbons Park West Parking lot (at the west end of Victoria St, next to the Montessori school). Dress warmly in layers - we’re going no matter the weather! We'll eat lunch together in the last hour of the program.Please Note: the public washrooms at Gibbons Park are closed from approximately November until May.
