As a life celebrant/officiant, grief companion and educator, spiritual care provider, Reiki practitioner, and Registered Social Service Worker, I’ve walked alongside many at life’s edge. But some don’t have anyone beside them.This walk is for them — for those whose final breath is taken in an alley or an encampment. For those holding onto life with a pet, but no person. For those whose stories may never be told.Through the H.O.P.E. Mobile Hospice (Holistic Outreach for Peace & Dignity at End of Life), we offer presence, care, supplies, and human connection to those who may otherwise face death alone. This walk — my walk — is part prayer, part movement, and part protest. It’s an offering. A remembering. A love letter to the sacredness of every precious soul. Walker's Choice — Move, Groove, or Be Still This fundraiser isn’t about how far or fast we walk. It’s about why we walk. I invite you to walk (or not walk!) in whatever way feels accessible, loving, and aligned with your energy.
