After you raise $50, your registration is covered but you can keep going! Create a fundraising page and raise $50 or more, and your event registration is free! Select the Fundraiser Registration option when registering. You’ll then be prompted to create your own fundraising page and invite your friends, family, and community to support you. We’ll provide you with a Fundraising Toolkit filled with:<ul><li>Social media posts and graphics</li><li>Fundraising ideas</li><li>Email and text templates</li><li>Tips to help you reach your goal</li></ul>Option 2: Participate Without Fundraising — $50 Registration Prefer to participate without fundraising? No problem! Select the Participant Registration option and pay the $50 registration fee ($20 for youth under 18). You’ll still be part of Mission in Motion and help move hope forward—just without creating a fundraising page. During registration, you’ll choose:<ul><li>Your distance (5 km, 10 km, 25 km, or 50 km)</li><li>How you’ll participate (walk, run, cycle, scooter, rollerblade, etc.)</li><li>Any dietary restrictions</li></ul>STEP 2: Create or Join a Fundraising Team  After registering for the event, you can create or join a fundraising team, or create a solo campaign just for yourself. Teams are a great way to involve your friends, family, coworkers, church, or community and work together toward a shared goal. Team Captains: Create your team page and invite others to join you.Team Members: Join an existing team and fundraise alongside your teammates. Pro Tip: Make your first donation to your own fundraising page! Even a small donation helps build momentum and encourages others to support your journey. 💪 Once you’ve registered and created your fundraising page, watch your inbox for your Fundraising Toolkit and Team Captain Toolkit (if applicable). STEP 3: Make a Donation Not participating but still want to make an impact? Your support helps provide Edmonton youth with safe spaces, caring mentors, meals, and opportunities to grow.
