Sanctuary is a church and a community. Some of us are homeless and some of us are housed. &nbsp;Some of us are sober and some of us use substances. Some of us have plenty of privilege and comfort and some of us have almost none.&nbsp; Guided by the Gospel, we consider people who are poor and excluded to be the heart and center of our community.&nbsp; Together, we strive to offer the love, dignity, stability and resources that all of us need to flourish.&nbsp; The most important thing we do is spend our lives together: from doctor&rsquo;s appointments to birthday parties; from evictions to finding a home; from jail visits to family visits; from mourning death, violence, and loss, to celebrating life and reconciled relationships. All are welcome here. We put that belief into action through shared meals, street outreach, a health clinic, arts programs, Sunday services, and, most importantly, by building deep, lasting relationships with one another. Hi! I&#39;m Tara. I work at PQWCHC and I&#39;m running in support of our friends at Sanctuary. It&#39;s been a rough few years for us harm reduction-focused humans and beyond. Sanctuary is a literal haven for those who need some support and who many disregard. Join me (and my lovely friends) in support this wonderful place! A few bucks goes a long way. We&#39;ll be running 5k in September in support of Sanctuary and I&#39;d love to hit my goal ahead of the run date! Thank you!&quot; Sanctuary is a church and a community.
