While our shows are open to everyone, sometimes Mother Nature doesn&#39;t get the memo. Did you know that when a show gets rained out and we have to cancel a show, we may lose up to $3,000 in donations?<br style="color: rgb(32, 32, 32); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; box-sizing: inherit;" id="isPasted" fr-original-style="color: rgb(32, 32, 32); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;"><br style="color: rgb(32, 32, 32); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; box-sizing: inherit;" fr-original-style="color: rgb(32, 32, 32); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">But fear not! The purpose of this Shakespeare Audition Workshop is to offer Ottawa actors the opportunity to brush up on their Shakespeare performance skills and work their monologues with Artistic Director and director Kate Smith in advance of a Company of Fools&#39; upcoming general auditions. Participants will learn about audition technique, brush up on their Shakespeare skills by engaging in some scene work, and finally work one of their prepared Shakespeare monologues and receive specific feedback from Kate. As Kate says, &quot;It&#39;s a chance to have a 6-hour audition with one of next season&#39;s directors!&quot;&nbsp; For current 4th-year students and graduates of the University of Ottawa&#39;s Department of Theatre program, use code UofOFools to book for free.
