We are pleased to be partnering with Parkland County to bring you summer day camps designed to spark curiousity, build confidence, and create lifelong memories in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment. Children, entering grades 1 - 6, will embark on an enriching journey to build emotional resilience, focus, and kindness. Using the evidence-based MindUp curriculum, this camp helps kids understand how their brains work, develop mindfulness skills, and learn strategies for managing emotions. Through games, storytelling, art, and nature activities, children practice empathy and positive thinking in a supportive and joyful environment. We offer engaging, structured outdoor activities where campers will participate in movement, sports, and cooperative games to build strength, confidence, and teamwork through physical activity.&nbsp;The best learning happens outside! Summer Day Camp - Golden Spike Hall

Stepping Stones is based on Triple P&rsquo;s positive parenting strategies. It helps to support parents of K-4 students in managing challenging behaviour and developmental concerns common in children with a disability, neurodiversity or additional needs. It can also support in encouraging wanted behavior, cope with stress, develop a close relationship with your child and teach your child new skills.&nbsp;This program is only for families who attend Evergreen Catholic Schools.

Triple P Fear-Less (Weekly Series: Oct 7 - Nov 4)

Evergreen Catholic School Division will be hosting an open house to provide families with information and resources about Transitions Beyond High School for students with disabilities.&nbsp;Additionally, caregivers will learn the importance of Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) service agreements and why families should use the service so support continues beyond school years, such as PDD. Each family will receive a resource binder with a transitional planning checklist to guide caregivers through the transition from childhood (Children&#39;s Services) to adulthood (Adult Services). Families can do the necessary paperwork with the aid of the checklist. A resource manual with local resources and assistance has been created by Evergreen Catholic School that will be provided as well.We have invited agencies that can help answer questions or concerns that you may have.&nbsp; In partnership with Gateway and Evergreen Catholic Schools. This program is only for families who attend Evergreen Catholic Schools.

Transition Beyond High School for Children with Disabilities

Kids Have Stress Too! is an evidence-based program that gives parents practical tools and engaging activities to help their children, from kindergarten to grade 3, manage stress, build resilience, and thrive socially and emotionally. The program helps parents and caregivers to understand childhood stress and how to provide children with tools to effectively manage stress. These are practical sessions where parents will gain knowledge, awareness and skills to help their children become healthier and more resilient.This program runs weekly on Wednesdays, Nov 18 - Dec 9, from 6 - 8pm at St. Joseph Catholic School.For families with a child in K-3 at Evergreen Catholic Schools.

Kids Have Stress Too! (Weekly Series: Nov 18 - Dec 9)

This practical session helps parents of all school-aged children better understand anxiety and school avoidance, including why a child may find going to school so difficult. Participants will learn how avoidance patterns develop, how well-intentioned responses can unintentionally reinforce anxiety, and how to respond with both compassion and certainty. The session offers realistic strategies for calmer school mornings and effective collaboration with school staff. Parents will leave with practical tools to help their child build coping skills, confidence, and a sustainable return to school plan. This program is only for families who attend Evergreen Catholic Schools.
