Sick & Injured Fund
From time to time, there are animals in need of special care. We will often share their stories on social media, as our general operating funds just aren't always enough to cover these additional veterinary costs. Donations to this fund are specifically held and used only for these special cases where our furry friends are in need of a little extra help. Thank you for your support!

2026 Kitten Naming Contest!
🐾 Name Our New Kittens Fundraiser! 🐾We've recently welcomed 4 mama cats and 17 adorable kittens to Border Paws Animal Shelter. While we're thrilled to have them safe and in our care, this little family comes with significant expenses. The cost to spay and neuter these 21 cats alone will exceed $4,000, and that's before food, vaccinations, deworming, litter, and other medical care. As anyone who has raised kittens knows, growing kittens have big appetites, and nursing moms need plenty of nutritious food to stay healthy. That's why we're launching our Name Our New Kittens Fundraiser with a goal of raising $5,000 to help provide the care these cats need as they prepare for their forever homes.💛 How It Works🔹 Donate $5 for each kitten name suggestion.🔹 Choose which kitten(s) you'd like to name and get creative with your suggestions.🔹 Each $5 donation equals one name entry.🔹 All proceeds will help provide food, medical care, and daily necessities for our newest feline residents.🔹 Name submissions will close at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30.🔹 At 2:00 PM on June 30, we will randomly select one submitted name for each kitten.Every name suggestion helps provide a healthy start for these cats and brings them one step closer to finding loving homes.Thank you for supporting Border Paws and helping us care for these growing families. We can't wait to see your creative name suggestions! 🐱💕
