The Buxton National Historic Site &amp; Museum, Buxton Genealogy &amp; History Conference and Huron University are proud to present: Legacy of Dred Scott: A Virtual Presentation with Lynne Scott. Join us for a compelling virtual presentation with Lynne Jackson, Great-great-granddaughter of Dred and Harriet Scott and President and Founder of the Dred Scott Heritage Foundation. Drawing on her family&rsquo;s powerful legacy, Lynne Jackson will explore the lasting impact of the Dred Scott case, the continued relevance of civil rights history, and the importance of preserving and sharing these stories for future generations. Her work through the Foundation is dedicated to education, remembrance, and dialogue surrounding freedom, justice, and equality. This virtual presentation offers a meaningful opportunity to learn directly from a descendant whose voice bridges past and present, history and lived experience.
