AGM 2024: Retro Tunes & Reels

The Powerline Connector Adaptive Trail Project is a key trail realignment and accessibility initiative designed to protect wildlife corridors while enhancing community recreation in the Bow Valley. The Powerline Connector will be a 3.5 km multi-use trail replacing the current section of Loki Trail that crosses the Tipple Across Valley Wildlife Corridor. The new trail will run adjacent to the existing powerline right-of-way, linking Highline Trail (West) with the haul road near the Loki trailhead. This alignment will create a safe, sanctioned route while protecting important wildlife movement areas. Built to aMTB standards, the trail will be one of the few truly accessible singletrack trails in Canmore, suitable for adaptive riders, families, beginners, and intermediate riders. Once complete, the project will deliver a net gain of more than 4:1 in new trail versus decommissioned sections, significantly improving connectivity and adding long-term value to the Bow Valley trail network. The new trail will run adjacent to the existing powerline right-of-way, linking Highline Trail (West) with the haul road near the Loki trailhead. This alignment will create a safe, sanctioned route while protecting important wildlife movement areas.Built to aMTB standards, the trail will be one of the few truly accessible singletrack trails in Canmore, suitable for adaptive riders, families, beginners, and intermediate riders. Once complete, the project will deliver a net gain of more than 4:1 in new trail versus decommissioned sections, significantly improving connectivity and adding long-term value to the Bow Valley trail network.CAMBA is proud to partner withRocky Mountain Adaptive Photo Credit: Philip ForseyThank you for supporting CAMBA!(Charitable BN 768499667RR0001)EMAIL CONSENT:By submitting this form, you consent to CAMBA storing and processing your personal information. The Millennium Park Interpretive Trail is a youth-focused project in Canmore that will revitalize and expand the existing bike skills zone. The project will introduce an interpretive trail and an inclusive skills area designed for kids and families to learn, explore, and build confidence on bikes. Support for this initiative will transform an aging facility into a vibrant educational and recreational space. The project encourages outdoor activity while promoting bike skill development, environmental awareness, cultural connection, reconciliation, and sustainability through meaningful community partnerships. Your donation directly fuels our commitment to build and maintain sustainable trails, expand inclusive access to outdoor recreation, and strengthen community connections across the Bow Valley. At CAMBA, trails are more than just dirt paths—they’re places for joy, challenge, and connection. Whether it’s a wee grom learning their first skills, an adaptive teen gaining independence, a rad dad chasing adventure, a dirt queen finding flow, or a runner finding their rhythm, your support makes these moments possible. With your generosity, we can continue to protect the land we love, design environmentally sensitive trails, and ensure that our trail network thrives for generations to come. Together, we’re building more than trails—we’re building community.
