the C4 Opening Party is to celebrate the work of our exhibition and acknowledge the amazing art games being produced in Atlantic Canada and beyond. Join us for snacks and some great games as we kick of our first event Conference for Art Games and open our accompanying exhibition. Tickets are free for all but donations to CFAT&#39;s building fund will be collected at the door and during ticket purchase. C4 Opening Party

The Conference for Art Games is a space to showcase and support the growing games and interactive art community in Atlantic Canada. C4 looks at how games can be used as an expressive art medium and critical cultural objects. Hosted by the <a fr-original-style="text-align: start;" href="https://cfat.ca/" id="isPasted" style="text-align: start; text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Centre for Arts Tapes</a> (CFAT), an inclusive artist-run centre that supports artists who use video, audio, and electronic media to express ideas and stories that are under-represented in mainstream culture. The conference will be a single day, single stream conference programmed to make sure there is plenty of time to meet fellow participants, speakers and artists. The event will include lunch, a day full of speakers as well as a zine library for perusing at you leisure if you want some quiet time.&nbsp; Speaker schedule announced Beginning of August!
