New Life School provides education in English to children in the surrounding villages while the children’s home provides a loving and supportive environment to kids who are orphaned, abused, marginalized, or underprivileged.

Arise works with struggling families in developing countries. We engage with the most difficult situations to help families thrive.School for children in these families is just a dream unless the family can start some kind of business to pay their bills. Bruce Friesen is a husband, father, and grandfather passionately dedicated to the discipleship of the next generation. With years of experience as an entrepreneur, church-planting pastor, and organizer of the Victoria ministerial (among many other projects), Bruce uses his extensive network and experience to further the mission of raising a generation that knows who our God is and confidently walks in His purpose & calling.Your gift supports Bruce as he collaborates with many organizations both locally and globally, developing an extensive network of passionate & brilliant Christians who are developing programs, resources, & systems to disciple young people all over the globe, educating both the elite and the world's most impoverished with God's kingdom at the center of this learning! Bruce sits on boards of --and/or works closely with-- multiple organizations, including The Institute for National Transformation, Global Council of Nations, Third Education Revolution, Imaginal Education, Kingdomize Global, The Global Transformation Network, and several others. His part as President of Children Arise plays a pivotal role in building a generation of confident youth who understand God's world, His plans in history as well as the future, and their place in it all. When not working, Bruce can be found at home in Victoria, BC, where he is active in his home church and enjoys spending many hours with family and friends - especially if it involves fishing!Every contribution helps Bruce stay present in this work— helping guardians, churches and educators train up the next generation into faithful stewards of God's kingdom.
