We spend most of our lives looking at screens. This is two hours you won&rsquo;t. Join Chorus Hamilton for a powerful night of Mozart&rsquo;s most moving music. From the thunder of the Requiem&nbsp;to the quiet beauty of Ave verum corpus, this concert explores the full emotional range of one of history&rsquo;s greatest composers. The program also features the bold and dramatic Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor, K. 466 and the radiant&nbsp;Laudate Dominum. For centuries, people have said Mozart&rsquo;s music does something different. It sharpens the mind. Calms the nervous system. Lifts the spirit. Today, science backs up what listeners have always felt: live music changes us.This concert isn&rsquo;t about being an expert. It&rsquo;s about being present. Come sit in a room full of real voices. One Night Choir

ONLINE SALES CLOSED. TICKETS AVAILABLE AT DOOR. On International Women&#39;s Day, &nbsp;Chorus Hamilton is celebrating the women who made jazz impossible to ignore. Billie Holiday. Ella Fitzgerald. Nina Simone. Etta James. They didn&#39;t just sing, they refused to stay quiet, play small, or fit into anyone&#39;s idea of what a woman was supposed to sound like. Hamilton has its own jazz history. Billie sang at Hanrahan Tavern in 1951. Duke Ellington recorded here in 1954. During Prohibition, jazz thrived in the city&#39;s underground clubs. This concert brings that legacy forward with 80+ voices and Hamilton mezzo-soprano&nbsp;C&eacute;line Cascanette, performing standards like &quot;At Last,&quot; &quot;God Bless the Child,&quot; and &quot;Blue Skies.&quot; It&#39;s music you know, sung by your neighbours, in a way you might not expect.
