Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Community Living Parry Sound Fundraising Raffle (hereinafter referred to as "the Raffle") is open to individuals aged 18 years and above.

1.2 Participants must be residents of Ontario, Canada, to be eligible to participate in the Raffle.

1.3 Transactions made from billing addresses outside of Ontario will be accepted as donations, but will not qualify as entries for the Raffle.

2. Entry

2.1 To enter the Raffle, participants must purchase one or more raffle tickets.

2.2 Raffle tickets can be purchased at clps.ca.

2.3 Each raffle ticket purchased will correspond to one unique entry in the Raffle.

2.4 Entries will be recorded on paper ballots and stored in a secure office on Community Living Parry Sound's premises.

2.5 Participants will not receive physical tickets. Entries will be confirmed electronically at the time of purchase.

3. Entry Period

3.1 The entry period will begin on August 1, 2025 at 00:00 am EST and will end at September 8, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST.

4. Entry Fee

4.1 The cost of each raffle ticket is $25 CAD.

4.2 The purchase fee is non-refundable.

4.3 Transactions that do not adhere to these Terms & Conditions will be accepted as donations. A donation receipt may be requested.

5. Prize

5.1 The grand prize is a framed original painting by Jessica Vergeer valued at $2,950 + HST.

5.2 The prize(s) are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

6. Draw

6.1 The Raffle draw will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner by Community Living Parry Sound.

6.2 The draw date will be Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 9:25 am EST at 2 Pine Drive, Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada.

6.3 The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries by random draw of paper ballots.

7. Notification to Winner

7.1 The winner will be notified directly via the contact information provided during the purchase process.

7.2 If the winner cannot be reached at the contact information provided within the sooner of 30 days or 10 documented attempts, Community Living Parry Sound will make no further attempts to notify the winner. Per AGCO terms & conditions, the prize will be held in trust for six months from the date of the draw. At the end of the six-month period, the winner forfeits their entitlement to the prize.

8. Prize Collection

8.1 The winner must collect their prize(s) in person from 38 Joseph Street, Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. They may send another person to collect the prize on their behalf by giving permission in writing.

8.2 Alternatively, the winner may request that their prizes be shipped to them at the winner's own expense and own risk.

8.3 If winners choose to have their prize(s) shipped, they will be responsible for any associated shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, or other fees.

8.4 Community Living Parry Sound will make reasonable efforts to ensure the safe and timely delivery of prizes if shipping is requested, but shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay during the shipping process.

9. Publicity

9.1 By participating in the Raffle, the winner agrees to allow Community Living Parry Sound to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes related to the Raffle or future events.

9.2 Community Living Parry Sound reserves the right to share the name and photo of the winner on agency social media, clps.ca, and with other ticket buyers.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Community Living Parry Sound and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by participants or winners in connection with the Raffle or any prize awarded.

10.2 Participants agree to release and hold harmless Community Living Parry Sound from any and all claims, liabilities, or actions arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Raffle.

11. General Terms

11.1 Community Living Parry Sound reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Raffle or amend these terms and conditions at its discretion.

11.2 Any changes or updates to the Raffle will be communicated through the official channels of Community Living Parry Sound.

11.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

By participating in the Raffle, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
